We are not taking part in the competition but we will be there to meet new people! If you happen to be there and wish to meet us, drop us an e mail or just find us there and we will be happy to meet you!
The last month was extremely busy for the team. We were attending from one event to another combined with a huge load of personal work for each individual of the team members.
Despite that, we are still here working! This weekend we are traveling to the beautiful Thessaloniki in Greece, to attend the even of Fantasmagoria. We will have a small booth with the updated version of Rum Ram! There are some improvements to the game, and it is optimized for lower spec PC’s
If you happen to be in the town of Thessaloniki, make a walk though the Town Hall; come play Rum Ram with some other competitive players because right now, Rum Ram have a counter and winning system! Will you be able to take the first place among your enemies?
It was a last minute call, but we managed to book a spot!
Come and meet our Lead Game Designer Paul Alifragis at the White Nights Gaming Exhibition in Prague! We will have a small booth on Tuesday 14th of February, and you will be free to try our latest version of Rum Ram.
Feel free to drop by, say hi and chat with him, we will be more than happy to have a friendly chat and to receive any feedback while having fun playing Rum Ram (bring some rum if you can too)!
For those who are not so deeply involved in game developing, next weekend is the Global Game Jam 2017!
Lucid Ferret Team will take part this year and it will be our first Game Jam! We will have a break from our project titled “Perspective” but after that, we return to complete our demo.
Wish us and everyone taking part the best of luck.
The Lucid Ferret team has made another big decision for their first months of the New Year!
Until middle March, Lucid Ferret Team will take a break from Rum Ram, and will work on another project. That will be the demo project we started at the Goethe Game Jam 2016.
That is the game “PERSPECTIVE”
See more info about the game HERE.
From the lucid ferret team, Happy New Year!
Merry Christmas to everyone, Lucid Santa is coming to town!
First things first, there are few changes about our game Ram Rum. It will no longer be called Ram Rum, but it will be Rum Ram! (wow big change…)
There are some improvements in the game, tell us what you think about the changes in our Facebook page. We have also added our own music made by our good friend Daniel Theo. Make sure to check his page and his YouTube Channel!
And last but not least there is free demo version for you! Go to the Rum Ram Page and you will find the download buttons. Unzip the file, open the folder and click on the RumRam icon and you are set to go! So simple.
But, a small side effect. To play the game you will need to have at least 2 to 4 controllers.
Happy Holidays to Everyone!
We had such a great time this weekend in AthensCon, and you were the reason.
According to the mean time of a single game and hours spent there, the game was repeated over 80.000 times, over 240.000 ships were sank but most important, we saw countless of smiles!
It was awesome for us to see you guys coming over and over in our booth having fun! Click Here to see our photos from our booth, feel free to tag yourself and tell us your feedback about the game!
And a small surprise! Since we saw so many people enjoying it, we decide to give that demo we had at AthensCon for free for all of those who want to show it to their friends. Due to some legal issues, we have to make some changes in the next two weeks, stay tuned on our Facebook page and we will let you know when it will be available for download.
We hope everyone had as much a good time as we had.
Stay tuned for our news!
The Lucid Ferret team had the chance to take part in the weekend Game Jam at Goethe Institute in Athens. Any kind of gamer, video gamer or board gamer had a chance to create their own game and present it to the others. There were no winners, no competition therefore it was a lot of fun!
Taking part in the Story Makers was the hardest weekend as a team so far! The time limit pressure was suffocating , but at the same time, we had so much fun! We met new people, we made new friends, we learned new stuff and we had a chance to present a small demo of the game named “Perspective”.
Perspective is a 2D platformer game in which you control a young kid. He was living in an orphanage and one day he lost his puppy. He decided to go and look for it, but he had to pass through the bad part of the city. On progressing in the game, the colors start to fade and everything starts to turn ugly. The eyes of the young boy are too pure to see the kinds of things he passes through. When he returns, the colors of the nice area do not come back. The dark aura of the bad part of the city is following him. Although, he is back at the “nice” place, the same things that he saw before have changed, that is, because everyone has a different Perspective of the same things according to his own past experience.
But enough about our game, please enjoy the photos from the weekend at our Facebook Page.
PS. We really want to thank all the new people we met, the new and old friends who helped us and everyone who made that weekend possible.
